Data Deletion
The app has no accounts, so there is no account to delete. This page explains how to remove the technical data the app sends, and how to stop it.

What data there is
The app sends three kinds of technical data, described in the privacy policy:
| Service | What it holds | Linked by |
|---|---|---|
| Amplitude | app opens, screens viewed, entries and topics opened, that a search was made (not its text), device model, Android and app version, country | a random install ID |
| Sentry | crash and error reports with device model, Android and app version | a random installation ID created by Sentry |
| AppsFlyer | which campaign or store listing led to the install; device data, IP address | the advertising ID, if your device allows it |
None of it contains your name, email address or the text you type into search.
Ask us to delete it
Write to hello@roona.io with the subject Delete my data and tell us:
- your device model (for example, Samsung Galaxy A14);
- roughly when you installed the app;
- if you can, your advertising ID (Settings > Google > Ads on most phones).
Because the data is not tied to an account, these details are how we find it. We may ask a follow-up question if we cannot tell your records apart from others.
We delete the matching records at Amplitude, Sentry and AppsFlyer within 30 days and reply to confirm. If we cannot find anything, we tell you that too.
Stop collection without writing to us
- Turn off sharing in the app: Settings > Privacy > Share usage statistics. Usage statistics and install attribution stop; crash reports are still sent.
- Delete or reset your advertising ID in Android settings (Settings > Privacy > Ads, or Settings > Google > Ads). AppsFlyer then cannot use it.
- Clear the app's data or reinstall the app: it starts with a new install ID, unlinked from the old one.
- Uninstall the app. Nothing more is sent. Data already sent is removed under each provider's retention settings, or sooner if you ask us.
